Broken Rhythms for Broken Times: Ju-Ju Drops ‘KEBRADITO’ on Ketapasando
A genre-blending EP with jungle, IDM and Latin roots—plus remixes and a unique Madrid live showcase.
Madrid-based Argentine producer Ju-Ju (Julián Carrara) returns with KEBRADITO, a new EP released via independent label Ketapasando on April 14th, 2026. Conceived as a sonic diptych, the project unfolds in two stages: four original tracks followed by a remix package dropping on April 28th, featuring reinterpretations by Umami, Silvia Torres, Kid Cala, and Ale Mal.
Developed over several years (2022–2026), KEBRADITO merges jungle, breakbeat, IDM, and Latin American-rooted melodies into a cinematic, B-movie-inspired narrative. With a layer of irony, the EP reflects on precariousness and collective unease—delivering what Ju-Ju describes as “broken rhythms for broken times.”
The visual universe is equally striking. The artwork, created by 3D artist Oihannavsmm, uses photogrammetry scans of people from the artist’s inner circle. This aesthetic will extend into the live show, shaping a cohesive audiovisual identity.
For collectors, a limited edition of just 50 NFC-enabled mini-CDs offers a rare physical format: a hybrid object that plays instantly when tapped with a smartphone.
Ju-Ju will present KEBRADITO live in Madrid on May 8th at Madreams, with a special audiovisual performance and collaborative elements. Tickets are limited.
