Cherman, DJ session recorded live at the Festes de Gràcia 2025 on Carrer Perill in Barcelona.
Cherman is the alias used by Germán de Souza (Buenos Aires/Barcelona) since 2008 when he performs as a DJ or selector.
He is currently the director for Folcore Records and The Nü World Music labels, Club du Monde Radio and the blog Etnotròpic, among other projects.
His dj sets are always different, depending on the scene or public his sessions can be of Electronic World Music, Tropical Fusion, Abstract Hip Hop, Downtempo, Ethno Techno, Bass Music, Folktrónica or Cumbias and Dance Rarities, which are characterized by including a daring -and at the same time careful- selection of tracks that do not leave the audience indifferent.
Cherman has performed as a DJ at festivals, clubs and alternative venues in Spain, France, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Poland, Belgium, Switzerland, Russia, the United Kingdom, Venezuela and Argentina.
